On the 15th March 2014 The Sea Watch Foundation are doing an event as part of the Science and and Engineering Week where they will be providing information on our local Dolphins and coming to Point Lynas to do a dolphin watch.

About half a hour ago the usual cry went up in our household-Dolphins! It does not matter how often you see them the result is the same. This pod were moving very fast towards the west and by the time I had my camera they were some way off. There seemed to be about 10 or so of them in a couple of groups. If you are visiting the lighthouse you can log any sitings you make to help get some protection for these fantastic creatures.
